Vanessa Vana Rogga

Vanessa Vana Rogga was born in 1999 in Aschaffenburg. She attended high school fra Andrije Kačića Miošića in Makarska, a high school for foreign languages. Because of her love for chemistry, in 2018 she started studying pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry. Her fields of interest are pharmaceutical and organic chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, and tumor biology. In 2020 she was rewarded with the Rector's award for her scientific work “Comparison of flame atomic absorption spectrometry and total x-ray fluorescence spectrometry for determination of heavy metal content in real samples – a chemometric approach”. In her free time she likes experimenting in the kitchen, trying out new recipes daily and even inventing them sometimes.
